Privacy

The controller is [Företagsnamn], [kontakt@example.se]. We store as little as possible: email, language choice, your answers, your streak and the purchase. We never ask for a personal identity number.

The purpose is to give you the practice, remember what you know, and handle payment and withdrawal. The legal basis is the contract when you buy, and a legitimate interest in keeping the app working for someone who only practises on their device. Language choice and the fact that you are studying for the test can hint at background. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

If you ask for news we store your email, language and the time of your consent in Firestore in the EU (europe-north1 or eur3). The legal basis is your consent. We use the address only to tell you about Medborgarvän. Write to [kontakt@example.se] to unsubscribe, or to have the data deleted. We do not sell the list.

Companies that handle data for us: Google Firebase for sign-in, the database and functions in the EU (europe-north1 or eur3), and Google Cloud Run together with Firebase Hosting for the website. No payment is connected during the launch.

The visit statistics are our own. They are anonymous and aggregated. We count page views, where the visit came from (including utm), device type, language, country when the host sends a country code, and events such as a quiz started or finished. No cookies, no profile of you, and no IP address is stored. That is why there is no cookie banner. Raw events are deleted after 13 months. The daily totals contain no person.

Feedback, and the thumb after a quiz or a lesson, is optional. Without an email the reply is anonymous. An email is stored only if you type it yourself.

Answers are kept until you delete the account, or on your device until you clear the browser. Under Account you can download your data and remove yourself from the update list. An update address that is not renewed is deleted after 24 months. The purchase is kept longer for the accounts, but without your email once the account is deleted. You can also ask for a copy, a correction or deletion via [kontakt@example.se]. Complaints go to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
