Sweden has four fundamental laws: the Instrument of Government, the Freedom of the Press Act, the Fundamental Law on Freedom of Expression and the Act of Succession. They are harder to change than ordinary laws. The Instrument of Government says public power comes from the people. It also protects the right of public access to nature, as long as you do not damage or disturb. The police investigate, a prosecutor decides whether there is a trial, and courts judge. You are presumed innocent until a judgment says otherwise. There are three levels of court. Criminal responsibility starts at 15.
